Mad Hatter Costume!

I started making this Mad Hatter costume last year and finally got to wear it for Halloween this year! The trick or treaters really seemed to enjoy it while I passed out candy. I made the dress out of neck-ties, woven together around the bodice and then sewn together for a unique look. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I forgot to add POCKETS. Kept telling myself "I'm going to add pockets to the dress and jacket!" and then I never got around to it. But one day, one day I WILL put pockets in this outfit! What would a Mad Hatter be without her pockets?!? Anyway, I had fun and can't wait until next year!
